Trusted Partners

Getting a medical device to market involves expertise in a lot of areas, not just QA and RA. What we have found over the years that what counts most of all is experience, people who have walked the walk as opposed to just talking the talk. Whilst innovation comes from all areas we cannot expect all innovators to have done this before but getting advice from people who have is essential.

The following people  know what to look out for as they have been there and done it, experiencing the highs as well as the lows.

How to Start Up in MedTech

If you're a start-up, this is a great place knwledge base. Steve Bell has over thirty years of experience in MedTech, and for over ten years worked in multiple startup division within Johnson & Johnson. Importantly, he has spent two decades doing hard core MedTech startups across the globe, raised over $1.5 B in capital, and helped to build the biggest Medical Device Unicorn in Europe. He has had successes and failures - and seen it all in startups and larger established companies. He knows what works and what doesn't.
Stephen from Practical QARA has worked with Steve at CMR Surgical and Maria knows Steve from his time working with Gynaecare.
